The Tree of Assyria - A Tree in the Garden of God
Assyria was a cedar in lebanon, with beautiful branches and forest shade. It towered high above all the trees of the field. nebuchadnezzar then sees a watcher coming down from heaven. The watchers here mentiond are most likely angels who watched over nations at various parts of the old testament. We might think of visitors that went to sodom to inspect it or those who went down to judge babel and its builders.
