What Do You Think of Tod Browning?

Tod browning was directed by karl frind, who later went on to direct the mummy. There's rumors that he directed a lot of the movie - more so than tod browning. The sets themselves are just incredibly influential and beautiful. But then there's all the stuff in the middle where there's just people talking in thi bindy's living rooms or on this balcony. And it's not the most inspired, to be honest.
