The Importance of a Virtual Reality Exhibition of Cultural Heritage
Researchers are using virtual reality technology to create digital exhibitions of luted and destroyed heritage. One project she was working on when we spoke to her was looking at the destruction of ezidi cultural heritage by isis. The thought of being able to see what was lost by stepping into a virtual archaeological site or museum was so vast nating to me. It reminds us of the importance of cultural heritage and how empty our lives are without it.
