The Role of Inflammation in PD

There have been a lot of studies that have looked at inflammation in PD and shown that there's increased inflammatory markers in the blood of Parkinson's patient. The flora in the gut of Parkinson's patients, we know is different from the flora in the Gut of, of right, you know, normal patients. And again, we get to the cause and effect question, but they're decreased gut microbiota that quell inflammation and increased gut microbiota that cause inflammation.
