The Future of Artificial General Intelligence

One of the themes for 2023, I believe, is emergence. These models which were not expected to have particular features unexpectedly do demonstrate these features. So people are scrabbling to figure out how far could this go - especially when new combinations are factored in. We might have an insu-inscient engine, which figures out by itself, 'I shouldn't rely on my intuition anymore' And so just like our human brain is composed of many elements which combine the slow and fast thinking for our general intelligence, there may be these systems combining in the next few years that come much closer to artificial general intelligence than was thought to be possible two or three years earlier.
