This myth was frequently used to scripturally justify slavery in the antibellum american south. This ideology held that whole ethnicities were the equivalent of genetic degenerate strains corrupting the social bodies of superior races. And so every nation that becomes so horrified by the devat ation that's about to be wrought by the third riche, every single one of our nations was intellectually complicit in the notsy crimes. It informed the colonial policies of every imperial power, including the ones in this story.
