What Is the Purity of Language?
Nom Tromsky is an institute professor emeritus at the massachusetts institute of technology. He's been teaching linguistics there since 19 55, and that has given him the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the great giants of the twentieth century. His goal as a linguist is to find principles that are common to all languages, which allow people to creatively speak freely and understand each other. Chomsky said that when we study human language, we are approaching what some might call the essence of humanity: distinctive qualities of mind unique to human kind.
