The First Moonwalk

On July the 20th, Armstrong and his crew gaze from the windows of their spacecraft, Columbia. At 5.44pm, the lunar module, the eagle, separates from Columbia. Michael Collins is left alone to orbit the moon until the landing mission is complete. Buzz Aldrin was adamant that he should be the first person to set foot on the moon.
