The study where they deliberately added errors to papers yes yeah there's a few of these so this guy Richard Smith who used to be the editor in chief of the British medical journal would run these variations on this study. They just count how many of the major errors did they catch on average it's around 25% and when they say major errors these are things like this thing said it was a randomized controlled trial but if you read the methods it says we like randomized people by the day of the week in which they came into the clinic or something like thatwhich is not randomization.
