The Effects of Pantothenic Acid on the Body

There is no evidence for anything other than some moderate GI distress in a small proportion of people. Pantothenic acid and biotin share a transporter in the intestines, so you could interfere with your biotin absorption by megadosing it. The incredibly high doses with no toxicity suggest that these are minor concerns. But I do think that it makes sense to shoot for balance in your diet and only use megadoses of pantothenic Acid or another single B vitamin when you have a really good rationale to do so.
