A paper by shawne silverbird published in a new england journal of medicine 19 99, where they followed 52 patients with a sytematic primary hpeparetyrism over the course of ten years. At the end of this ten year observation period, there was no change from the base line, serum calcium level or bo mineral density level at the end. A failed paro risk is probably one or two % risk of nerve injury. Point five percent tiswhat we all say. There's always a risk of hemotoma. And i guess, a negligible risk of permanent hypochalcena.
