Can't Hurry Love by Diana Ross and the Supremes was like my mum's favourite song. I haven't taken it out for about... Ooh, 15 years. We'd have to give you a new read probably at this point. Chairman Mandan Ghazi Aditjay helped me understand what my mum's story was set against the backdrop of it. So that book was an education for me. As well as something that rooted me to my cultural heritage. And not find out more just about the world, but more about myself.
