The World Health Organization's New Guidance on the Use of Uterine Balloons for Post Partum Hemorrhage

The world health organization published new, up dated recommendations on the use of uterine balloon tampanaud for the treatment of post partum hemorrhage. This is not talking about the commercially available balloon system that we use,. mainly here in the us. Called bactory system. This used a condum type balloon for tampanad. It's not completely applicable to a commercially available product. Second, it cautioned against use of a condumtype balloon for uterin tampanad when it's used alone. Of course, in the us there still has some rural locations where access to health care is limited.
