The Importance of Humility

In this idea of the human in a loop, I suppose it's the equivalent in data science. Well, you have some cooperation between data and models and people. So yes, I want to justify my existence as a warm body sitting here alongside this blinking computer. But I do need a healthy dose of humility,. recognizing what is it that I'm doing each and every day in that monitoring process. Sometimes a computer could do that just as well.
