The Gunman's Message to the Gunman
The gunman orders Jane to drive away from the mall and find a drive-through ATM machine. He tells her to pull into the slow-moving sludge of midday traffic. Her son, sitting next to the gunman, is lulled asleep by the moving vehicle. The other driver can't see inside the dark-smoked glass windows of her big SUV.
