The Unsatisfying Nature of Scientific Research

During the pandemic on Twitter, good doctors spent most of their time trying to correct idiots who would read these studies and just misread them. Most scientific research papers are profoundly unsatisfying; they don't come to defeat conclusion. And then what happens is people on Twitter, idiots on Twitter pick out some small part of it out of context and they spread it around everyone. It's like there was a week of stories about diet coke causing cancer that everyone was thrilled to tell me about because they know I love Diet Coke.
