The Importance of Agency in the Death Sport
The book is about two women, fierce women, fierce warriors, who are able to exercise their agency in certain ways. And then in certain ways, they aren't, uh, it's complicated. Uh, a lot of the book is about them struggling to find out ways in which they can have some powers from agency. They're trying their best to still be human, still exhibit and receive love, even as they are forced to be in this very, the kind of dark situation.
