The Importance of Auto Saving Desktop Edits in SharePoint

I don't know how much is really going to be used for a developer. If I could get a real time auto saving of desktop edits directly into SharePoint and SharePoint can have a real time, you know, acknowledging that there are changes with that file in parby.com. Yes. But nothing where it's actually like pure development or taking longer than 10 minutes in the web. And again, those are always things immediately I would be doing the desktop to to sync them together.
