The Impacts of Dualization and Impolarization on American Workers
Polarization is a description of something happening to workers' incomes in the labor market. It's so called high-skilled jobs that involve higher credentials at the top of the scale and increasing proportion of low-skilled jobs are trapped at the bottom of the scale. Dualization is a kind of structural account of what's happening in the organization of the economy. And, you know, if you think about like U.S. deal or GM earlier in the 20th century, but that today, the firms that employ lots of people are typically these kind of low-wage service sector firms,. which are not really able to generate a lot of productivity growth.
