The Role of AIs in Copyright Lawsuits

The idea is that the AIs can be trained on more or less anything. The stuff they produce may or may not be copyrighted depending on how similar they are to the inputs. If you reproduce a block of code verbatim from some input, that block of code may be copyrighted. And you may become legally liable if you include that in your source code.
