The Pros and Cons of Deepfake Porn

A new article highlights the problem of deepfake porn and efforts to pass laws that could counter it. This is particularly problematic because of its potential for revenge porn, where specific people are targeted with the intention of being harmed by fake footage. Sharon: I think it's really great that laws are being drafted around this and that they're being implemented in some states. It'll be inevitable that this needs to be regulated and all of AI needs to beregulated but to start with the really obvious stuff is the way to go.
