There wasn't a great appetite for Labour either among most of the people we spoke to. There was just this sense that things feel a bit bleak at the moment. It's very clear that the public mood has shifted I think decisively and irrevocably against the Conservatives, they do not believe they get it back and stay in power. But there just isn't this excitement or enthusiasm for the Labour Party. We can remember how excited people were about Blair coming in. Now the economy was far better, there were more grounds for hope than there are now.
