Alpha Small Groups

Alpha started in 1977 as a six week course for New Christian, started by Charles and Tricia Mountman. After John Wimber's visit in 1982, it expanded to a 10 week course with a weekend on the Holy Spirit,. And then Nikki Lee ran it brilliantly for about five years before I took it on in October 1990. We've been reading thousands and thousands of questionnaires from people outside the church. What helps them? What doesn't help them? So we're now my 98th Alpha Small Group in a row. Three of the people in that group were baptized last Sunday in Kuala Lumpur. Then we started our course and we're on week three in your home this time.
