Silicon Valley Hedged Against Inflation

Silicon Valley bank managers said, we're going to dump those hedges because we think interest rates are going down. This was like a risk that was hiding in plain sight. The question here is why didn't the regulators catch it? I think primary blame lies on the managers of the bank.
