The drop zone was officially declared a crime scene. Every person willingly agreed to submit to a DNA swap. Police asked an expert from the British Parachute Association, John Hidgen, to cut some of Stephen's riser webbing so that it could be sent for DNA testing. There was no evidence any other wreak had been tampered with.
