In popular Chinese history and in legends, Koshinga, I'll just call him Zhengjanggong, he's mostly associated with his mission to restore the Ming and for his kingdom on Taiwan. The extent of the wealth he controlled, all the relationships, personal and diplomatic that he had with people from Zhengjigwangdong, by all accounts made him a clear and present danger to the Qing dynasty.
