Borges said he realized that it would be better to write a short story about a book or do list books in a short story then to actually write the books themselves. The stories although they're short they feel really rich. You almost need to read like a Borges story and then like a Raymond Carver story back to back to really feel like you know that would be like jumping in the swimming pool and then getting into the hot tub and then jumping back in the swimming Pool.
