A Kankoko University and the Experience of Panasianism

Yuka's new book is about a kankoko university and the experience of panasianism. She argues that an idealistic conception of panagianism exercised considerable appeal to both japanese and non-japanese, even into world wor too. The school also served as a space for ethnically diverse students and scholars to have dynamic exchange of ideas among themselves. Yuka hopes her book will offer a nuanced interpretation of pan agianism at japan's imperial ideology.
