The misery index is a combination of the unemploye rate and inflation. It's just a way of measuring pain for consumers. Right now we have high inflation, but very low, oneploent, strong economy. So that's why i was surprised. Your hearing about stagflation a lot. But by definition, stag flation's high unemployment and high inflation.
