The Importance of Exhortation

We never really think through like how do these letters land? How are they received? Like did the letter to Galatian, to the Galatian churches, were there some of the communities there in Galatia where the letter wasn't even read? And that does have interpretive payoff. The NASB sort of retains a wooden translation, just translating word for word. So it actually misses the sense of what Paul is getting at. But the newest version of the NIV gets it really, really accurately.
