I think it has a strong obligation, a primary obligation to serve the public interest. In fact, I think if you're devoted to serving the public interest and your intent on being as boring and pedantic as possible, you're not doing your job at all. You have to do both. What's the public interest? Who determines that? I do. And I don't want to see the United States become an authoritarian regime. So that concerns me.
