The Hunnic Empire - Part 2

The Hunnic Empire was formed in the mid-4th century by Attila and his brother, Beleda. They were a group of nomadic horse archers based on the steppe. Their composite, recurved bows made them more deadly than any other weapons at the time. John Mann has suggested four key elements to explain their success. These include an ancient skill of mounted archery, a new version of an ancient weapon,a new tactical technique, and good leadership.
