What Happened to the Whateleys?

The film is about a group of friends who try to find their missing friend. They end up in dunwich, where they meet the town's beliefs about the whateley family. One character claims that his great grandfather was murdered by the townsfolk because he believed in an ancient race of be ings from another dimension more powerful than us.
