The Last Text in the Silmarillion
Dina F in Israel is the wearer of multiple prancing pony podcast t-shirts. She said she wanted to hear the very end of the Silmarillion, the bit with the Eldar passing out of story and of song. This was a genuinely hard moment for me because these last words were so moving. I have to be honest, it's such a moment. So rich, so dense with vivid imagery. No wonder it's in our top five. Absolutely.
