Small investors can almost be able to buy and only go into large companies usually because they have enough trading volume. If the company doubles in price it's still just a rounding error on their entire portfolio. As you're learning this get in there with a pabrai or a spear, make sure somebody's in there that's good at this. You don't want to think, oh, I'm looking at large cap stocks and I found this one and no one else did. That's not good.
