The Legend of Athena
The story of how Athena became the patron goddess of the city of Athens. Zeus was in charge of deciding who would serve the city, but he really did not know how to choose. After much discussion, it became clear that only two gods were truly capable of watching over the city Athena and Poseidon. Whoever presented the city with the best gift would become its patron.
