How to Help the Hoarders
Hoarders often view their children as safest under their care. Some of these hoarders expose their children to abhorrent conditions rather than face public scrutiny or risk losing them. Children suffer health problems such as asthma and they're in grave risk for being trapped in the home in a house fire or bitten by a pest. These guys have poor insight into their problem and they underestimate their severity. They are no longer able to look from the outside in.
