The Three's Case for a Smaller Board
Using small traces gives you some cool tricks to work with. You can build up these really dense patterns of traces that, if done carefully, will shrink your board down. A trace can actually generate EM radiation just on its own. The Three's case protected the outside world from these E&M wiggles, but it did nothing to protect itself.
