How to Hire a Proper Developer Advocate
I was the first proper developer advocate hired in 2018. I honestly think most companies, instead of hiring a proper advocate, like hire engineers that don't mind talking. It's like get someone who knows your product very intimately, but also can talk about it. And that's what I did at Nellify. But it's the same thing like we'd hire your first engineer as well. Hire engineers that can be product managers.
