How Do You Define Your Role in Information Architecture?

i imagine it's got to be an interesting experience for you to explain your role to others. i think, in my experience, information architecture is not a mystery if you're working in design and technology. I'm not trying to kind of like, own that work as something that a singular person does. So the roll f that i've crafted for myself, and that i'm seeing a lot of ias have success with in other organizations, is focusing on democratizing it at a skill set.
