The Importance of Original Gameplay

The movie captured the essence of Mario gameplay, all the different forms of Mario game play about as well as any non interactive medium could. The strongest emotion the movie made me feel was probably a desire to go play Odyssey or Galaxy or Mario Kart or Super Smash Brothers. No video game movie has ever made me wanna play the video game more than the Super Mario Brothers movie.
