How RVs Work in Private Practice

The reason why most ID clinicians don't have that kind of support is because when administrators look at the RVs we generate, they say, this is just not going to cut it. I'm blessed because that infrastructure was already built in and we have brilliant minds in our senior management who created the system. But if we're looking at especially an infectious disease consultation, which is so detailed and so thorough and so complicated, we need to be billing at those rates.
