The God of the Old Testament

Isaiah says even if Abraham doesn't acknowledge us, God is the Father of Israel. So Jesus taught his disciples to pray to God as their heavenly Father and to regard God as their Father. In fact this word God in the Greek, Hothaos, literally meaning 'the God', usually refers to God the Father.
