There were a couple of opportunities to assassinate Churchill or FDR actually had they been lucky enough if you want to look at it. The place was crawling with Axis spies somebody could have picked up on that and thrown something together quickly to try to take him out. It's hard to know I mean these are all counterfactuals in 1943 there was a German attempt to assassinate Churchill, Solomon, Hitler and Iran now it's not like they ever got close but the point being that of course these attempts are happening.
