The Commander's Warning to the Crew on Evacuation
Six seconds later, 40 seconds before the aircraft stopped, the commander started that turn and he warned the crew on evacuation from the right side of the aircraft by making a broadcast over the PA system. As the aircraft's ground speed reduced through 17 knots, 10 seconds before they stopped the percer, open the flight deck door and said, say again, trying to confirm the evacuation order. The commander repeated evacuate on the starboard side. This is still eight seconds before they come to a halt. So you see there's a lot now that needs to be done in order to even get people out the door. Yeah. I'm going to put a pin in that. Okay.
