Is Elixir Gaining a Grandon on the FinTech Space?

I'm actually working on a FinTech project at the moment and we're using obviously we're using Elixir for the backend. It's actually not you reminded me there was a guy who worked at Goldman Sachs who got prosecuted for stealing some source code and handing it over. I think he was working at a full on trading system and Erlang, which is kind of interesting. So yeah, I think Elixir is gaining a grandon on the FinTech space. But yeah, personally, I still see a lot of JavaScript stuff on the back end mostly.
