Professor epstein: We don't have the opportunity to dig perhaps as deeply as we would like. In anthropology and sociology in particular, people have started to move to what they call theories of practices. This is one very important move i think, that people have made. But even so, it's extremely hard to really break away from at least a partial anthropocentric picture of the social world.
