What Is Magic?
Deon Fortune coined this one back, I think in the 1920s, it showed up in one of her essays. The art and science is causing change in consciousness in accordance with will. You are dealing with everything from simple psychology to the heights of mystical attainment in that simple definition. And you get, and you get some people who pursue magic that way and you, and it needs to be understood that's possible. It's a bad idea. But you need to know that's an option so that if nothing else, you can be prepared to counter it.
