Is Germany Dependent on China?

Olaf Scholz just landed in China for his first visit there as German chancellor. Adam wanted to ask if Germany is economically dependent on China in a fundamental way. He can't believe the amount of coverage that Scholz's visit to China has received under the sign of this question. The numbers are significant but not really confirming this basic idea.
