The Decline of Religious Rituals in the West

There's a great deal of writing about how people in the Western world are involved in fewer and fewer rituals, traditional rituals. Dimitri Treyshev: I do think that the human need for ritual goes deep into evolutionary lineage and it's not going to go anywhere. As people in the West take part in fewer religious rituals, they seek to fill that void by participating in other kinds of rituals.
